Holly and Phil have already been fast tracked. Beckham is on his 3rd day of waiting…. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/a...

@jim.londoncentric.media Can’t respond to original thread. Was this possibly The Mucky Pup in Angel?

Liz Truss meeting the Queen vibes after the news today……

This week I stepped away from acting. It’s been coming. It should have happened earlier. In 2022 I had heart surgery. It was a quintuple bypass. I talked openly about it and let my friends, including director/producer/casting friends know about it. Three months post surgery I was fine. (1/6)

Flow is a wonderful animation. Enthralling.

One Russian newspaper today: “America now has more in common with Russia than Washington does with Brussels or with Kyiv.” #ReadingRussia

Yesterday I went ice skating for the first time in years. It was my fourth attempt in 30 years. I fell spectacularly twice, modestly twice and managed to stay upright for the majority of the time - if not a little wobbly. I ache today, have a sore back and swollen knee. 5/10.

It can be very easy to get lost in statistics over the proposed #benefitscuts. No doubt at least 2/3 of the press will now be running opinion pieces about why our “bloated benefits bill” needs cutting and why “workshy” sick people need to be “encouraged” back to work. 🧵 #chronicillness #disability

Ah yesssssss, nothing like the smell of a dead rat under your garden office to get the sinuses going......

I'm a bit quiet on socials these days but if you want to fill the mind numbing void then check out johnlast.com. Also, check out the latest news on Hearts of Stone with Noomi Rapace and Jessica Barden (and meeee!)

Brewdog's founders are a great case study in how quickly wrong'uns fall down rabbit holes when they're called out on their BS. Started with some relatively minor criticisms of how they treat staff and now they're going full on Musk.

This is real. Unbelievable but real.

Bang on. 'The American state has been captured by a group of people who do not see the world as we do, who are hostile to the world as we want it to be. We must see them for what they are- to their credit, they don’t pretend to be anything else. To our discredit, we lie to ourselves that they do.'

All the way to the gym I fantasised about getting there only to be met with wall to wall cars in the car park and no space available. “Oh well, at least I tried” Bloody empty. *Slinks into the changing room*

They say don’t read the comments because of the stuff they say. True. What they don’t tell you about is the poor spelling and grammar.

Remembering those millions that perished in the camps at the hands of Nazis. #HolocaustMemorialDay

I’d say pardoning 1600 rioters is an admission of guilt, wouldn’t you say? I mean, that and a Nazi salute.

The problem with watching David Lynch in your formative years is that it’s difficult to trust anything you see on screen. Or maybe it’s because I was super stoned and it’s all a mangle of mess.

I've been trying to sort out my Dad's phone contract for him for the past 10 days but I live 200 miles away from him. Something that is as simple as pressing a button and 'doing it' has turned into 10 days of torture. Why won't he just follow the simple steps? WHYYYYY?

We are entering the age of unadulterated dis/misinformation. Facebook are now going to stop fact checking. Fealty to Trump, Musk and the normalisation of the far right. These are incredibly worrying times.

This is the colleague that the likes of Cleverly, Badenoch & Jenrick are refusing to defend...

People fussing about Khan getting a knighthood whatever but how on earth did Ranil Jayawardena, ex-Tory MP of absolutely zero note, get one?

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Word of the day is most definitely ‘hurkle-durkling’ (19th-century Scots): to linger in bed long after it’s time to get up.
