Also check out "The Girl who Loved Tom Gordon" which is also a bit unique and is super fast to read! A real page-turner!

Of course! Like I said, it's not typical King — you can really tell how after his accident, he decided to write whatever he wanted, experiment (which in my opinion, worked very well) — but it's not representative of his other works

"The Colorado Kid" is short and very atypical Stephen King. I can read it in one sitting, so if you find you need an "artifical" bump…

What I cannot fathom is why he thinks Musk is taking Twitter in the right direction. Unless, as "The Guardian" says, all he's interested in is engagement, and turning it into a hellscape will get people engaging more. (Again why we should all leave: if engagement drops, he'll backpedal)

All we have to do is disengage. We can't vote with ballots, but we can with our time and our accounts. If we disengage from Facebook, or even delete our accounts, we'll show him what we truly think of his new policy

I'd find this calming, except those people spouting off vote…

And it's only now coming out? And all people are remembering is her hatred. An excellent legacy

She was still alive? I thought she'd been buried in her hatred years ago!

"Calamity Jane" by Bernard Schopen. Went in with no expectations, came out amazed by the characters and conclusion. Available to borrow from the Internet Archive library archive.org/details/cala...

I closed my account there, and will NEVER go back. I will never do anything to make Musk any richer if I can help it

Despite the cold 🤧, I shall!

But wouldn't it be “flanneling” in the American spelling? Like “traveling,” because we don't double all Ls when adding -ing? (Not that it'd appear that way, either, necessarily)
