At this point we need you to start predicting the worst case scenario so something good might actually come true.

I don't get my morality from the law. I get it from thinking about what good or harm is done to human lives. That man is responsible for unfathomable harm. I don't need a statute to see that.

At this point if something I want is locked behind glass I'm not buying it. If I saw this store I would just leave.

I've only seen through 201 so far, but one thing the bothered me about S1 was how the council always agreed with whoever spoke last. They'd make a call, and then the complete philosphically opposite call next we see them. Goddamn council of Joe Rogans.

I had JUST polished off the final scoop when Woolie uttered his #9. It was a profound and blessed moment and I cried out in consummerist rapture for the glory of his most noble visage. PRAISE BE TO THE BEAVER!!! PRAISE BE TO BUCCEE!!!

I think the conversation has just migrated from my original point which was about diminishing returns in what an industry can sell to consumers, and what that means when it needs to keep its shareholders happy under capitalism.

That's 100% true, but is that enough to sustain infinite growth? I think the fact that every major tech company dives head first into AI, or NFTs, or VR, or whatever craze points to what I'm saying. The improvements to what we have are bottlenecking, and they are desperate for a totally new thing.

Right, that's in the medical sphere. I was saying that there is an issue with stagnation, I'm thinking mostly in tech, where industries want infinite growth, but rely on consumers to buy the new iphone when they just throw a couple more pixels in the camera. The original post is bonkers, I agree.

What does that have to do with what I said?

The kernal of truth in this is that recently, in the sphere of your average consumer, new ideas have mostly stagnated and we're mostly just fine-tuning what we already have or doing dumb frivolous shit like putting apps on our dishwashers.
