It’s all about concentration of power, unchecked power, within the executive. Trump thinks he’s a king. I think there’s a real possibility of him using nuclear weapons during his term. If that happens, it’s game over for all of us. States opposed to Trump should form an alliance.

State refusal to comply is one likely way to help keep Trump in check. Maybe you’re thinking all out revolution. Not opposed to that, if it does happen. However, cases brought to State and Federal courts are not about people sitting on their asses - they are the result of people taking action.
