I feel like we're seeing something similar here with Reform. No effort to shape the debate. Instead yielding to a relentless campaign in the media followed by Labour saying "well I guess people like Reform, we should be more like Reform"

My worry is that with cognitive skills we often operate with a use it or lose it system. At the moment we can have oversight to check the marking is correct. But eventually we will lose this ability and this way dependence lies.

These companies use polygenic scores. Although they are a 'genetic test' they are complex, with deceptively simple numeric scores masking a complex interplay of biology, environment and chance. Polygenic predictions are uncertain and their use in this context - IMO - should not be allowed.
