The world ranking is based off points. You can gain or lose points as you play throughout your career. Winning the world championship will certainly improve your world ranking because you'll certainly gain points but it doesn't automatically catapult you to the no.1 spot.

The FAA is not serious about this issue. They should ban unruly passengers from flying. As with everything aviation, unfortunately, it will take the loss of innocent lives for the FAA to actually do something that addresses this issue.
