I just don’t expect Republicans to do right by the constitution or the people.Sadly they have proven, especially these last 8-10 years that they will wield power to gain power. Wish I your faith that the constitution, states and norms will come into play. I’m hoping I’m wrong.

Republicans are now in a position where everyone can ‘see’ them. Unless they find a way to eliminate all elections (is that so far fetched ? ) they are going to reap the ‘rewards’ of their behavior.
