The Trumpers in my life (and there are many) still can’t be reasoned with and any attempt at a rational appeal to truth and facts almost always devolves into a heated argument. Look, I’m guilty of the anger part. But the information vacuum that those people live in is very real and impermeable.

My concern is that it’s impossible to build bridges with people who have literally been brainwashed into a cult. Not to say that it isn’t possible with *some* MAGAs, but I have a pessimistic view on the possibility of rehabbing extremists.
