Free Agency Depth, AKA what % of the max APY for a position is a players PFF projected contract? Basically, how close are you to being the best at your position? Think of the bins as Blue Chip, Starter, Role Player, Sub Blue Chips: G Trey Smith, S Jevon Holland, WR Tee Higgins

Free Agency is nearly upon us, but how deep, and how good, is this class? And who are the best available for the Chiefs at their positions of need? Find out in my latest for @kcsportsnetwork.bsky.social! open.substack.com/pub/kcsn/p/f...

With all 32 NFL teams now having hired a head coach, I took a look at how each head coach spent the 20 years before landing their current job. Data: Pro Football Reference

I didn't realize Void was an option, actually. Yeah, I'd say so. Here's the same chart with all free agents, regardless of classification (UFA, RFA, ERFA, Void).

I summed the snap percentages for each free agent for every team to see who has the highest share of snaps potentially leaving. Grouped this into buckets to show the size and number of important free agents. Dolphins have 5 free agents who got 75%+ snap share last year.

Wrote about the Chiefs upcoming free agents for this offseason for @kcsportsnetwork.bsky.social. They have a lot of them, and several who put in 50% or more in team snap share. Veach will have his work cut out trying to replace or resign all of them. www.kcsn.com/p/chiefs-fre...

The season didn't end the way we wanted it to. The Eagles came in and won that game. Respect. Here's the analytical breakdown of Super Bowl LIX for @kcsportsnetwork.bsky.social: open.substack.com/pub/kcsn/p/s...

Barbara Kingsolver remains a real one. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/07/b...

Before LIV, it was absolutely XLVIII. That Broncos Beatdown gave me LIFE, lemme tell ya!! Then came LIV, and it allowed me to *live* for my team, instead of subsisting on hate for another team.

Since the start of the Patrick Mahomes era, the Chiefs have played 22 extra football games just in postseason play alone. That is 1.3 extra seasons worth of football in the last seven years.

Super Bowl LIX Gamecard! Eagles have the better ranked defense by quite a bit. Big advantage in net turnovers. They average 28.4 PPG. Chiefs have a good offense, and solid defense. They've gotten players back from injury (Brown, Watson, Omenihu), too. Chiefs favored (52.4% WP)

Jalen Hurts has improved against the blitz this year, but zone blitzes have still given him issues. The Chiefs create pressure on over 50% of their zone blitzes and allow the 2nd-fewest yards/attempt. Spags is gonna send it, how Hurts responds will be key for the Eagles.

cannot be said enough that for a decade a critical number of americans have simply refused to accept that he means what he says

to me, this KC team is the one that people thought they were watching last year. losing rashee rice took a cleaver to the WR room + the offensive tackle situation has been a nightmare + no explosive plays basically all season but it really might not matter with a singular force of nature like 15

hi friends. on may 4th, i’ll be running my first half marathon and partnering with the Alliance for Refugee Youth Support and Education (ARYSE), a foundation that works with refugee and immigrant youth in the pittsburgh area. i would really appreciate any donations! raceroster.com/events/2025/...

How often did each QB attempt a pass at or past the 1st down marker in the 2024 Regular Season?

Battle of the Trenches! KC gave up 19 pressures. Caliendo with the most (5). Karlaftis earned 7 pressures. Jones with 6. BUF gave up 30(!). RT Brown gave up 6 by himself. 10 more were late pressures or free rushers. Smoot and Bernard earned the most for BUF with 4 each. CC: @ftnfantasy.com

The Chiefs made history on Sunday by being the first back to back Super Bowl champion to make it to back to the Super Bowl the following season. I wrote about the game that sent them there in my latest for @kcsportsnetwork.bsky.social. www.kcsn.com/p/spreadshee...

Always interesting to me how when we talk about postseason wins and losses no one remembers dropped picks. Anyways this is a terrific rush from Danna.

Football 301’s conference championship recap is out! @mattharmon.bsky.social joins me to recap the Eagles big day on the ground over the Commanders and the Bills-Chiefs putting on another classic. 🍎: tinyurl.com/56y93vzr ✳️: tinyurl.com/ycxt37tw 🖥️:  youtu.be/QEIxG9oeZ4Q

Mahomes is truly historically great, but amidst all the hagiography today, let us remember that a FG left Josh Allen in position for a game-winning TD drive, and it was Steve Spagnuolo's defense that shut the door on the Bills. This has been a Steve Spagnuolo appreciation post.

We said the Chiefs couldn't keep winning like this unless they played better, and so they played better and just kept winning. DVOA says it was the Bills who had the luck to stay close. Plus, EAGLES! (FREE) ftnfantasy.com/nfl/conferen...
