It would be nice if people could stop acting like DEI is an only a moral good. DEI strengthens organizations. People from diverse backgrounds bring new ways of solving problems and serving people. DEI isn’t a gift to diverse people. It’s a gift to the orgs that hire us.

Today I’m going to see how my 78-year old father handles Fedora Aurora desktop. He’s been a long time windows and Mac power user, so I’m optimistic. The main programs he cares about are Chrome and Dropbox. Maybe atomic desktops are how we finally get our non-tech friends and family on Linux?
