I just looked through the list of nominees and I haven’t even heard of most of them. So either they are irrelevant or I am officially old now… 🙈

If the rumours are correct I think they will lump them in with the main poster…

Nothing could have prepared me for that monstrosity. I like how the description of the property just doesn’t mention it 😂

Are you taking requests? (Basement Jaxx plz)

Now you just need to ask AI to draw “the eccentric Glasto guru” and see how much it looks like you 🙊

Same here, I don’t tend to go just because of the slot, I have to be interested in the act too, especially to go to the effort of trying to find a space in what’s usually the biggest crowd of the weekend! Since I started going we have seen 5 out of the 9 legends.

At least Diana was older 🤣

Hahaha I do remember you saying about Kylie being younger than you when we watched her 🤣 I’ve not seen Rod before so I’m looking forward to it, just really interested that I’m not seeing much excitement around the announcement!

I’ve done this. Trying to keep my feed to almost exclusively Glasto people. I’m also keeping all news outlets off my following list - if I want to see the news I’ll go on a news site.

This is mine, the very first time me and @actualsi.bsky.social went in 2009, taken on a digital camera at Williams Green. We’d arrived on the Thurs late afternoon (we didn’t know then how wonderful the Wed and Thurs are), it was absolutely pissing it down and we had no idea what we were doing there!

No… it’s gonna be sunny AND you’re gonna get tickets in the resale. No negativity on Bluesky 😂

Yes next summer!

I saw them many years ago at the o2 and they were incredible. Would love to see them again!

I would be down for that, Basement Jaxx + Brother’s Bar = a very fun evening

How about a “blute”? “Did you see my blute”, “I bluted about that”, “I’m live-bluting the event” 😂

How would we pronounce this?

Oh this is amazing, doing it right now!!

Ello!

I’ll take it 😂

I also think the Oasis denial that they are doing Glastonbury is ABSOLUTELY what someone who is headlining Glastonbury would say…

How funny!!

That was what we had planned to see but our legs were absolutely done by that stage of the weekend. Since then we have a rule “if in doubt see the Pyramid headliner” and it’s never failed us!

SHHHHHH!!! 😂😂😂

Everyone who was there in 2016 has quite vivid memories of 2016 I find!!

Yep 2016, love that you know exactly what night I meant! We had seen Beck and found ourselves quite near the front… we couldn’t face trudging anywhere else by that point of that weekend and I had a bottle of vodka in my bag so we just stayed where we were. One of the best nights I’ve had there!

Super wet days are the days you take a chance on something random in a tent rather than just sitting in the sun with a pint of cider. The wet/mud was also the reason we saw Coldplay after many years of resisting and we (annoyingly) loved them 😂

Thanks, wasn’t even me! A friend got our tickets out of the blue because they knew we’d not made it for a few years which was so kind, then luckily the rest of our group got theirs too! We’ll be supporting in the resale if you need help 🙂

The first time we saw Mik Artistik it was a VERY wet Thursday and we had dived into a tent in the Avalon vicinity to take shelter from a particularly aggressive downpour just as he was coming on stage. He was brilliant of course, and it became a Glasto tradition to seek him out!
