This story made the point better than I ever could that Europe needs to act now. Turns out that JD Vance (and the others) really do want to screw Europe and one of the reasons that they almost delayed the attack was to try to make that point.

/2 I absolutely think it’s unnecessary to drop slurs gratuitously in class, but the idea you can’t refer to expurgated slurs in a fact pattern or case means you can’t effectively teach First Amendment law, criminal law, employment law, or numerous others, and strikes me as unserious.
