I believe in democracy, rule of law, women’s reproductive rights, climate justice, human rights and dignity for all. I’m a retired military civilian. I can’t believe we have to fight to claw back rights.

We tried to tell you.

Why are they so weird

When making a MAGA cabinet, it's very important to strike a careful balance between billionaires, sex criminals, Russian assets, anti-vaxxers, and just plain unpleasant people.

Truly impossible to overstate just how badly America messed this one up.

I can’t stop thinking about how Elon has like 20 kids but spent thanksgiving with his weird mommy and Baron Trump. He’s basically Michael Jackson with rockets and no musical talent.

But, you already knew that.

BREAKING: Alexander Vindman RESPONDS to Elon Musk’s threat that he will “pay” for his “treason”: “Elon, I served in the military for 22 years — and my loyalty is to the U.S. Constitution against all enemies foreign & domestic. That’s why I reported Trump. I’m not intimidated by you.”

The Trump ordeal has made one thing clear. Too many of our checks and balances rely on norms, traditions and the honor code. It works when those elected into power are people of honor and integrity who respect our norms and traditions. Elect a lifelong criminal and it all goes sideways.

The Tariff Act of 1930 was designed for protectionist trade. It imposed high tariffs on over 20,000 imported goods which led to retaliatory tariffs from other countries. Why am I telling you this? In case you're ever asked "what were the key contributors to the Great Depression?" The mo' you know

Trump alone didn't beat the justice system. He had help. It took Oligarchs relentlessly amplifying his lies on their media platforms. Ethically compromised members of the Supreme Court. 70+ million willing to vote for a convicted felon. There's a lot to fix. But it can be fixed. It must.

So let me get this straight. If you apply for a job at a grocery store, you have to undergo a background check. But, if you apply to be Director of National Intelligence, you don't? Got it.

This needs to be said, loud, and often.

Thank God Merrick Garland waited nearly 2 years to appoint Jack Smith because, after all, nothing is more important than preventing the optics of politicization.

Nothing to worry about folks, the whale decapitating, dead bear depositing, baby sitter sexually harassing, raw milk drinking, anti-vaxxing future head of Health and Human Services says doing heroin made him a better student. This is fine. This is totally fine. Everything is absolutely fucking fi…

Couldn’t agree more.

I don’t think a United States senator saying this should be taken lightly

If we come out the other side of this hostile, nightmare chapter with our ability to recognize wrong from right, false from true, and our commitment to decency, kindness, democracy, the rule of law and the Constitution intact—then we can begin to create a positive future again.

Facts matter. Science saves lives. Anti-science destroys them.

Tammy Duckworth on Tulsi Gabbard: "I think she's compromised ... Russian controlled media called her a Russian asset."

I love this.

We need as many healthcare professionals to be courageous and speak to truth, for our patient’s sake and for the sanctity and credibility of our profession. That starts now. We cannot allow the highly abnormal to be normalized. www.msnbc.com/alex-wagner-...

Did you send your letters to your Senators yet telling them to oppose Hegseth? Now is a great time to do so!

Pam Bondi refused to return their dog to a family of Katrina victims after she "adopted" their dog. She fought them in court for 16 months before she gave the dog back. Disqualifying. Character counts. www.businessinsider.com/rnc-speaker-...

What you need to know about Trump's designation of Russell Vought, one of the authors of Project 2025, to head OMB after Trump disavowed any connection with Project 2025 last summer. open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...

Pam Bondi is the new AG nominee put forth. Bondi was the lead attorney general in an unsuccessful lawsuit seeking to overturn the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Jane Doe told police that she was sexually assaulted in 2017 by Pete Hegseth after he took her phone, blocked the door to his hotel room and refused to let her leave. She also reported something may have been slipped into her drink.

So true. 💯

Starting a phony transgender bathroom debate and hiding behind the guise of “protecting women” to distract from your attempts to push through the confirmations of alleged rapists, sex traffickers, and fraudsters at the highest levels of government is peak Republican Party.

If Trump has them that intimidated then they need to retire. And MSNBC hosts piled on CNN earlier this year but their code of silence on this is gross. Have some courage and integrity. Is that too much to ask, or are you just too comfortable?
