Historian Joseph Fronczak argues that a distinctive feature of the political culture of fascism in the 1930s was how it was organized around symbolic objects and gestures that invited ordinary citizens into a trans-national politics of "participatory antidemocracy" fitted to each nation.

He’s pretty much how I first pictured MB. Tho my image of it did vary a lot while reading.
I leaned into a non-gendered appearance for the character, but when the cast was announced it hit me that non-gendered people in the real world will surely be misgendered all the time. So he fits.

All just to get SpaceX a monopoly to replace the workers.
Reminds me of Tesla releasing “Full Self-Driving” long before it’s ready. How many people have to die just to get the greediest man alive a few more bucks?

Somehow we also need to make clear that democratic government is of, by & for the people. It’s our only chance of getting what people want.
It’s our only way of directing society in a positive direction instead of in the direction that the greediest among us want it to be.

Seriously. How did every major outlet in America collectively agree AT THE SAME FUCKING TIME to label the shit Black people said in Contraband Camps 200 years as "woke"?
South Carolina's 1868 Constitution was written by a majority Black delegation WHO FREED THEMSELVES
They were woke"

I think William Gibson called his version of this future collapse “The Jackpot.”
And once again—no, it is not a good thing.

The left worries about billionaires & soulless corporations taking over. And they are.
The right worries about powerless minorities & the poor taking over. So they want to dismantle democracy.

I take him at his word:
He said in his divorce proceedings that he isn’t competent enough to hold down a job, and I believe him.

These are some of the images that make it very clear Musk isn’t just consulting here.
He’s acting like he’s the king.

And there is no such thing as an audit that lasts a few days.
Anyone repeating that justification for what Musk is doing here is either lying or is an idiot.

This is what it looks like when the boss shows up to take over your meeting and he doesn’t have any respect for you.
There is no other way to read that whole press conference.

Trump is completely under musk’s thumb.
This is a photo of the boss taking over the meeting of an underling he doesn’t respect.
No other way to spin it.
