The title at the top isn't surprising once you see it's from a Covid-19 Conspiracy Theorist, Climate Change denier and overall wacko commentator / politician. And of course the piece itself is just "anti-woke" bullshit.

That's a tough one. Especially because I think the "bull" right now doesn't care. And if that's the case, one of the few things I would find important is to raise risks, be clear about potential impact and document EVERYTHING that is happening! It may come handy later on, if you know what I mean...

I've been repeating that for years. DEI is not just right thing to too, it's also good for business. There's research that has proved it!

Yeah I totally get what you mean. My "favourite" one is "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
No one notable ever said that.
Especially not Einstein...

No worries, but, interestingly, when I researched who had coined the expression I found Peter Drucker rather than Deming.

I think those are usually very interesting situations that you can learn a lot from. But you got to be able to somehow notice later on that it happened (both because you make room for retrospective thinking and also have the evidence available).

I guess my point is that inherently you're always measuring - at the very least your "feeling" of something. You're just not putting a number to it...

At some point Spotify decided I needed to hear more bands from literally the other side of the world. I've become a big fan of a few of them, so here's one!

I can only imagine... 😞 It's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed. But I bet your presence and support mean a lot to your team, especially during such difficult times. Good luck with the all-hands meeting; you've got this!
