Wow, I've never seen that! (Well, near the bridge between Niagara Falls US and Canadian side.) And I thought Iowa having drive through liquor stores was impressive. Also, I was going to make a comment about Montgomery County, MD, and county-owned liquor sales, liberal, but not that way.

Here in the US it mostly seems to exist with private foundation funding. Some of it looks great. Other public universities only seem to allow auditing of courses, and only when there is room, subject to faculty permissions. Pretty limited. Maybe my next (retirement) role can be in a college again.

Can we just reinstate work from home or wherever else for people like this?

So did she.

Yep, that's why lawyers hire economists and actuaries who can do math. Lol.

Almost as bad as figuring out how much an airplane costs with engines. Commercial or military I suppose. And with commercial not disclosing the cost and it varying by the number and delivery and engine options. I guess it all falls into "if you have to ask you can't afford it?"

I dove down that rabbit hole a few months ago, too. Amazing how hard to get to some real answer. And then all the other things we launch and variants.

Almost certainly explaining the muted response by Iran right now. Doubling down, being quiet, until they test a weapon would be my bet. I mean if Vegas was giving odds and it was legal to bet from here in MD.

I only have that in the morning when I wake up since I don’t have to check my phone into a locker during the day. I don’t know if real time is better or worse.

Better than what happened to that one guy in that show that did that. Wait, there were more than one, right?

I suspect that’s why some of mine are so robust. The deer keep eating four of them that keep coming back. We have around 75 or 90 or so, all transplanted or divided from ones my mother-in-law was growing in Iowa starting in the mid-1990s.

Thanks. My wife almost killed me when I brought it home. Turns out “Do whatever you want” doesn’t really mean do whatever you want. :D

We have two dogs and a mother-in-law, but my current car is probably my favorite I’ve ever owned. It has room for everyone. But it’s usually just me.

My sister had a Grand National. It was nice. She and her husband also had an Impala SS that I almost bought when he passed away.

A friend had a Boss 302 (1970 I think) in Grabber Blue with black shaker hood and black stripes. Such a beautiful car!

We own a nice Accord, but the last V6 model. It’s our third accord or maybe fourth?

I can imagine! I was in Sacramento late 80s, very early 90s. I don’t remember ever stopping anywhere to ask, but I do remember a fair number parked around town.

I generally did that, too. I had a Chevrolet Corsica for a short while. That followed the ‘76 Dodge Aspen Station Wagon.

I almost bought a ‘67 Camaro for $2,500 but the (1 owner!) owner wouldn’t take $1,800, and so didn’t get it. It was all my dad and I had, but, it still hurts a bit. 16 year old me.

Will always remember my dad’s brother driving into Iowa for Christmas from California in his car, as Saab, but I didn’t know how to spell it at 14 or so, and asked as a car pulled in, “Is it a SOB?” Everyone laughed and said, yes, yes he is. Sorry Grandma Norma.

And a 3 years and 5 months old older child. Still can’t believe how much was packed in the back of that for the move. Or that I had to take it all out and shove it into carry-ons… What a life!
