Consideration for the people of Gaza when voting would be making sure Harris wins so Trump can't turn their homeland into a golf course. People jumped on the Harris isn't doing enough bandwagon but made zero effort to truly understand the situation.

They thought it was in the bag, Harris didn't need their vote.
Or, they were protesting something that someone told them about a place somewhere called, Gaza, I think?
Some of them tried to vote and were rejected in red states.

Don't tell you to research it?
So you already know he's vile, racist, misogynistic scum?
Obviously, you don't research anything. You are in for a nasty surprise.

Please don't tell me you believe memes more than history books .....
Explains everything.

OMG, you have no idea!
Miller is one of the principles in this deception you're falling for! Try investigating his background and beliefs. Are you OK with him?
Have you learned about Nixon and Reagan yet? History, not memes or TV interviews from the very people conning you.

Look at your meme again. Then look up who was the last president to have a budget surplus.
People who make these memes are purposely leading you astray.
comment in response to

Memes are also a poor source for facts. PLEASE find better sources. You need to be prepared when this economy crashes and government agencies that might help you are gutted. Maybe read some history.
Are you OK with Trump siding with Russia and pushing our long time allies away?

White House press conference? Seriously? As fact?
You REALLY need to start doing research away from social media. For your own good. You are being played, and unless you are a wealthy white man, you WILL be hurt by what Trump is doing.
Are you OK with Musk having all of your banking information

We need MANY more stories of this kind of awakening.
People need a good smack upside the head to get the return to realize needed to save America.
Unfortunately, people will die for that to happen.

Hey, did you realize there's someone else with your username? She was done 'debating' me an hour ago, so now this has to be another user.

You weren't actually debating with me all along. Just reinforcing a stereotype

You forgot "bahahaha". That gives your posts credibility.
This isn't your fault, there's been a calculated effort to get you to this point. Research Nixon's Southern Strategy that started it. Then Reagan's Welfare Queen story that kicked off the government IS the problem lie.

Just another thing you've been programmed to repeat without looking into it?

I watched the SS United States being towed out of the cradle of the nation this week. I hoped it wasn't a heavy handed metaphor.

Oh, yeah, Trump won fewer than half of the votes cast.
The people who could vote but didn't count as people who didn't choose Trump. It still means that far less than half of Americans chose him. You need to start thinking through the things the GOP tells you.

BTW, there arebover 265M Americans eligible to vote. Before bragging about how many people voted for Trump, do the math.

Trump is doing nothing but making deals with Putin. Musk is the one supposedly rooting out the waste. And guess what - Musk is unelected.
It will probably be less than a year, you will start to personally feel the pain of what's going on. Know then, that some of us have been fighting for you.

If you believe it's so corrupt and ruined, why do you stay? It shouldn't matter to you that I can or can't see it, I have my reasons for staying. What's yours, if it's such an awful country?

You just claimed that the US is "ruined". So why do YOU stay?

You do realize some of those Canadian players play for Canadian teams. And Americans are on Canadian teams. Russians and Swedes and others too. Teams win a Stanley cup, not countries.
Countries win international CHAMPIONSHIPS.
This isn't hard.

Or maybe we feel free to stay and fight to keep the country of our choice from becoming a Russian territory or fascist state. And we don't for ALL Americans, you included

I hate seeing people suffer, but it's time. Nothing else has brought them back to reality, this may be the only way. Short term pain, long term gain

But they still support Trump.
They polled preferring all of Harris's agenda, and none of Trump's. Then elected Trump.
It has to get far worse before they wake up to reality

I remember a far louder outcry over the SCOTUS ruling than the Trump magazine cover.
There's plenty to rail about without fabricating outrage. The last thing we need is more reasons for the right to claim we're crying wolf

Stop with the false hypotheticals.
Dems would never even consider doing something so outrageous. Offering "what if" only verbalizes it as a possibility, it's a step towards normal.
People currently supporting this need to be told how uniquely outrageous and unthinkable this is

Even in this thread, posters are discussing pros, cons, what if's.
STOP treating Trump's insanity as something worthy of discussion!!!
The whole reason for articles like this is to get us to forget what normal used to be! Resist it!
comment in response to

It's more about normalizing Trump's crazy than anything about Canada. Writing any article examining the "what if's" is normalization.
And it's intentional .

It actually celebrates fighting off the British to keep our independence.
We may have to change some words, if we can come out on the other side of this mess intact.
Your other points about it are spot on. As an American and musician, I think it's the worst anthem of all.

We tell the wealthy to spend more on charity, to lower prices of the goods they produce, to pay more in taxes. That's all socially acceptable, too.
Far too many false equivalencies already, let's not add to that. Focus on actual things the wealthy are doing

A blanket boycott is a bad idea. You'll just buy it all later anyway.
Now, a TARGETED boycott, at the billionaires and corporations supporting Trump, is sustainable and can actually hurt them.
We need a list longer than just "Amazon", a good place to start
