I heard it again this afternoon! I'm looking out for other words that are only ever written now. :)

I have this long list of these things I do every day! Current favourite is Hardle which is really evil but I'm totally hooked on that one.

That is fun. Annoyed I had missed that one from my roster of daily word challenges!

Lovely, thanks!

Ohhh ... where is that to be found? 🙂

Ah that is a shame. He looks a lovely little fellow.

Just what we were saying, actually found that dull to watch. I did get the online grocery order done while it was on so there is that. 😔

My first failure for a long time, had I known it was a daft word I may well have got it!

The books are excellent, cannot recommend them highly enough if you like historical novels.

Ah the Viridor building at Taunton. Perhaps not the best view to be had around the ground! 😀

Down here in rural Devon it's hard enough driving around dodging all the potholes. The increasing proliferation of SUVs (many mostly doing the school run) on narrow country lanes makes it very much worse.

Very much longer than 10 years! Brexit was 10 years ago and he had done so much damage already by that point.
Odious man.

Thanks for the confirmation.
I agree that it would be unexpected if Henry and Riley did not feature in most of the games.
comment in response to

Dan are we allowed to have Henry, Riley and Pretorius all on our books at the same time for the Blast? If so are we allowed to play any two as we choose, I assume that is still the limit per match?
Thanks 🙂

Ditto. Indeed size is not everything. I sometimes dip back into Twitter/X but always end up wishing I had stopped myself from slipping back into the mire.

Taking a break sounds a good idea for you Gary. Have a lovely summer and hope to see you back sometime when the time is right for you.

That is very funny! 😍

That looks really scrummy!
I hope your week has improved. :)

Garden centres, in my experience, are very dangerous places indeed. I'm normally pretty self controlled in shops but put me near plants and chaos ensues!

Sending you lots of positive thoughts Matt. 🤗

That's a really good criteria particularly since the advent of the hundred ball nonsense!

Somerset supporter here but I'm loving seeing one of the smaller counties topping the table. 🤗

Lib Dem voter here but I had hopes that Labour would be so much better than the Tories. But they lack any vision whatsoever, I have no idea what they are doing. As you say misstep after misstep. Shameful.

So sorry to read your news Carol. Everything crossed for you.

Well done, appropriate for you as well!

That really does sound delicious. We love both savoury and sweet crumbles here! Cream is an excellent idea as a topper.
Thanks. 🙂

That sounds really interesting but is it a bit dry on it's own?

Happy birthday! Looks like you have had a great birthday weekend. 🥳

I am so pleased that I am not the only one! Nothing would be too bad for that crew.

Ah silly of me, I did not realise that is was Connections on the NYT site! I do that every day, well attempt to anyway. I often trip up on US specific clues.
Have you tried the Hardle? That is my current favourite challenge.

I've not discovered this one yet, can you give me a link? 🙂

Finishing the latest Tim Sullivan whodunit and then watching football on the TV. Lazy night planned!

Just down the road from me but I admit I've never been there. Something to add to the too do list!

I'm delighted for Bants, I have always thought that he would make a good four day batsman given the chance.

Getting excited now. First game of the season is always special. 😍

Long explanations are fine with me! 🙂
I've never heard of selkies before but that is indeed an appropriate name.
comment in response to

Do you know the origin of Selkie's name? It is unusual.
comment in response to

That is a great pic of Selkie. Also I love that cactus on the cat tree!

We adopted a pair of rescue cats some years back and it was lovely to see them investigating around as a pair, they got their confidence much more quickly that way.
I see you already have the Dreamies ready! 😜
comment in response to

Oh my goodness, they are absolutely lovely. 😍
Rescue cats are always special.

I take gabapentin for facial pain and can vouch for the fact that it can make you very whoozy indeed!
Fingers crossed that Daphne is OK and will eventually forgive you for all the vet visits.

I'm confident that cricket chat will pick up here when the season starts.
In any event I don't ever want to go back to using anything that Musk has his mucky hands on. Much nicer here where people actually chat with each other. :)

I thought that too but apparently in American English it can be used for female lawyers. News to me!

Lovely, it's not too far from us so some new footpaths to explore.
Thanks Gary, have a lovely day. 🙂
