Some of the folk writing gushing takes about the wonderfulness of the returning Trump are going to be pretending they never did when the bills for the arbitrariness, craziness and corruption come in. As they always do.

My dishwasher is roughly 30 years old. My washing machine was a similar age when it died last year. I was told not to expect the replacement to have that kind of lifespan.

Asserting that the President can essentially overturn a settled Constitutional right by whim is a loyalty test. I slightly suspect it will go badly for them, because it's so *brazen* and I think most American judges do still believe mostly in the rule of law. But I'm not 100% confident
