I have both personal emo journals AND all my old art school notebooks, which I love to crack open and use as writing prompts. I’m currently writing a series of short stories about wild earlier-life events and they are helping a LOT.

I’m a huge journal writer — and I do revisit them. Sometimes it is super cringy to experience my young angst, but I also have enormous compassion for my past self through reading them. 🤣🥰
