your missing the point of voter suppression, and how hard it already is as a marginalized voter it can be. we can say the platitude of Vote vote vote, but that doesn't account for actual peoples lives. I wish it were that easy.

You are right, but a large part of that is intentional. Not just through making voting harder for populations that vote blue, but also by separating "politics" into something separate and not a thing that touches everything in their lives. Some people intentionally won't think about it.

The cruelty is the point. Rather than fix things they paint targets and create enemies so their base will celebrate even while they are being robbed by billionaires and having their rights stolen. Buts its all ok because they get to cheer on their team beating the scapegoat.

Only if we fight for it. Nothing is for certain, especially in times like these. Humanity can be just, but it can also be cruel. Lots of needless people will die if we wait for the long arc of the universe.
