Very satisfying to de-slime our decking on a dreich Saturday 💦 The decking is UK grown thermally modified Ash, supplied by Vastern Timber. We’ve installed it 7 years ago and it’s been amazingly durable ever since. Just needs a wash once a year.

I am thinking about giving 3 day workshops where lay people would learn to build * a nebraska style load bearing #strawhouse, * prefabrication of timber/straw panels, * straw bale retrofitting and * basic plaster skills. Would that be something you would travel to Germany for?
