It was an absolute disgrace.

They’re setting it up for ATC privatization - something US pilots overwhelmingly reject. Privatized ATC is an expensive debacle everywhere it’s been tried and would be even worse in our incredibly complex airspace. Our current ATC system is the best in the world, hands-down. It’s not even close.

They’ve spent so long being terrified of the looney 10% that I’m not sure they will listen to the 45%. I hope they do, though, for the sake of the country.

We had a Greatest Generation and now we have the Worst Generation of Republicans. They deserve no respect, only shame and scorn. It was all a lie.

Unfortunately, that inevitable outcome will have a lot of collateral damage.

The sane reason for keeping it as “Notice to Airmen” is because that’s the ICAO international standard and Airmen is meant as a title and nothing more. How this became a political topic (both in renaming it the first time and in reversing it now) is sadly ridiculous.

They probably just haven't changed the sign yet. It's a holiday, after all. It takes the economy at least a full business day to go from Great Depression II to "best in history thanks to Trump".

I remember the scary government "death panel" threats we relentlessly heard about years ago when the healthcare debate started. Instead we got "death cubicles", where anonymous, unaccountable insurance employees decide life or death. Meanwhile, we pay vastly more than anywhere else in the world.

Oh, they're trying to reform the government, all right. They're just using a different blueprint - one that has a different Red, White, and Blue flag and some weird looking letters on it.

Don’t worry, he’ll write another essay and make it all better.

Looks like another lawsuit is in order for a pollster insulting Dear Leader.

It has become more usable lately. A bigger patch is supposedly coming next week. My biggest improvement was the AMD Radeon software update that now supports MSFS 2024. Went from 30fps to 70+fps on ultra settings. They have a lot of work to do on the aircraft though… it’s still far too “gamey”.

It’s a pretty standard rate of descent for any turbine aircraft.

But… but… the “mandate!”

Or, we can just stop with the “but what about…!” nonsense and call things out for what they are without immediately qualifying whether it was good or bad by what the other lousy tribe did.

Ah, the good ole’ days, when not only was flagrant corruption frowned upon, but sometimes people like Rod actually went to jail. He peaked too early… he’d have a cabinet position waiting for him today.

I’ve sadly realized that most now consider being a blatant hypocrite a good thing, provided it is in furtherance of “owning” the other tribe.

There can be more than one problem. “Waste” is subjective. But the fact is, we spend WAY too much money, more than we could ever balance even if we taxed billionaires at 100%. It’s not even close.

Welcome, David! It’s great to see you here.

Consider yourself lucky. Our small business is not going to be so fortunate and it is rather terrifying.

It is sheer lunacy. So, will farmers, who overwhelmingly voted for Trump, accept their new roles as welfare kings/queens? Is it no longer going to be a derogatory term, but rather a sign of patriotism to receive that government welfare check?

It’s clear that they designed FS2024 as an arcade game for Xbox rather than a realistic simulator for PC. There’s a huge difference in design priorities between the two. I hope it becomes a sim again one day.

It must be “the establishment” screwing them over again. Don’t worry, DJT and RFK are going to save them with some 8-D chess.
