no need for any guilt about Texas Chainsaw 03 — it’s the best of that era of remakes and it’s my second favorite in that franchise. it’s great! can’t hold a candle to the original, but almost no horror movie can.

some people love New Blood and it honestly boggles my mind. it’s horribly acted (and not in a fun way like many of the other sequels), it drags like hell (so boring!!), and while the idea of a Carrie-esque counter to Jason is cool, it plays out so cheesy and bland.
