What the fuck have they done to audacity? The software, not concept

I’ve subscribed, you should too! The model works because when those that can afford it (eg #edpsychs such as myself) support orgs like BISH to produce valuable content for those who less able to pay (eg young people who are unable to access the job market). #edusky

I need your support to keep BISH going. I need 2000 (two thousand) people to join the Patreon at £1 a month. That would pay me to work on BISH for two days a week. I need a pay rise, can you help? www.bishuk.com/support/

Check out my guide on what sex is and how to make whatever you're doing safer, more consensual and potentially more pleasurable. I did these drawings too! Thanks to my supporters for making this happen. Crowdfunded, ad free, socialist sex ed. www.bishuk.com/sex/what-is-...

Jaw-dropping reporting by Haaretz www.haaretz.com/israel-news/...

The sheer passionate commitment to flinging thousands of disabled people into poverty is really quite something.

The MP in questions - I am not even joking - has answered Charlotte's post with a video in which she claims that "it's not as simple as I've done something awful because I haven't". And she's disabled quote tweets. It’s illegal to be mad at her while she immiserates people to boost her career.

The government has announced a two-tier benefits system. Under its plans, you can keep your benefits if you are disabled now, but not if you become disabled tomorrow. How is that fair? A reminder: The Independent Alliance stands by its own amendment, and we will not back down.

One in four young people in England have mental health condition, NHS survey finds Unsurprising given the impact of the pandemic alongside poverty and other concerns. However, data needs interpreting in terms of the wider framing of the term 'condition'. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

It's #RSEday today and the theme is communication. So here's a resource I wrote last year on how to make conversations about sex and relationships easier. #RSEday25 www.bishuk.com/relationship...

Here's a nice overview of the coaching methodology I use www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaJl... if you fancy a session or two... justinhancock.co.uk#coaching

Politics is not a game. It's people's lives. The Government's welfare cuts will have a catastrophic impact on the sick & disabled, and plunge hundreds of thousands of people into poverty. It's simple: show some humanity and drop this Bill, now.

The biggest security threats facing people in the UK right now are the climate emergency (which is existential) and the manifold threats to their economic security caused by the dire state of British capitalism The threat of Russian tanks rolling up the M20 toward Whitehall is not high on the list.

I have been so busy I almost forgot it was St George's birthday. He would have loved the Mamdani win. Ore pro nobis Sancte Georgi.

Hard not to argue that the Labour parliamentary party are useless. They'd better learn from Zohran right quick Morgan McSweeney: Labour’s election fixer under fire as welfare rebellion looms - on.ft.com/43ZlqEM via @FT

These aren't mom and pop grocery store owners forced to pay protection money to the local mob boss. They're leaders of some of the richest nation states in the world. Grovelling and selling out their national interests to a neo-fascist is very much not the only thing they can do in the circumstances

Tens of millions of Europeans will be materially worse off as their governments shift resources from social programs to militarism. All on the demand of a foreign neo-fascist regime that they didn't even try to stand up to. So much for "defence" and "national security".

It's really worth listening to Zohran Mamdani's victory speech. a) we don't get much good news b) it's really good. The way he talks about solidarity is inspiring. Why we struggle to have our version of this I'll have a go at answering below www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxyX...

I wonder if Jonathan Ashworth helped out the Zohran campaign?!

Zohran’s victory is an earthquake. The left everywhere must dedicate itself to an insurgency against Dem incumbents. The Dem establishment has lost credibility w/ its base in the face of fascist threat. The base is looking leftward for new leadership. We are the opposition party.

"Hegemony in the sense of trying to mould a common sense - that's over... It's just pure, brute force assertion, backed up by violence and power." - @leninology.bsky.social on public opinion and the US attack on Iran:

The Iranian operation against the US air base in Qatar was clearly just symbolic - a retaliatory option of the kind discussed in the latest episode with @leninology.bsky.social www.patreon.com/posts/interr... :

Something that makes advice giving increasingly difficult is people want understanding, forgiveness and compassion for themselves and their loved ones - but the absolute opposite for everybody else.

When someone else is enjoying something we feel that enjoyment too. Just like we might get pleasure from touching someone as they get pleasure from being touched. All pleasure emerges *between* what we do. So it’s not compromise, it’s teamwork. www.bishuk.com/sex/compromi...

Here's how you remove Google AI from your mobile devices.

It was a real case of bad timing. We concocted the project because we thought that the 2015 election would either result in Labour or another coalition government, which would have meant statutory RSE then. By the time statutory RSE did come in the project was cut (and RSE is in a dire state atm).

People did you see that fire in the city? It's like we're fresh out of democratic Gotta get yourself a little something semi-automatic, yeah www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABhZ...
