I had that experience when I had my echocardiogram. I just had a breast biopsy a month before. The first half of the echo was done by a male and I was groaning in pain, I could pass out. The second half was a female. She was so gentle and I was just waiting for the pain to begin and it never did.

I don't think I had any other option. I don't regret it, but I need to learn to cope with the side effects.

Boxes of chocolates this year... I like giving gifts but I don't like receiving themπ

Things like:
How to prepare for radiation, what to expect during and after.
Experiences with treatments.
Coping with hair loss.
Depression and anxiety during diagnosis and treatment.
I mostly got my support from friends who had breast cancer. We're the best people to talk about these things.

Cancer survivor.
Diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer, ER/PR + with a side of TNBC.
I love heavenly hash ice cream.
I'm proud of myself for completing a 21km walk as an FU to cancer.

Thanks. I will look for it. I'm in Canada, I'm sure one of the stores carries it.
I've always had straight hair before.
My before and after. My hair is longer and currier now. And it sticks up on the top. Lol.βΉ

I'm trying it to be my bff but I don't think it's liking me back. π€ͺ

Yesπ
I've had wonderful people respond to a question I posted for a friend who doesn't have an account here or on Twitter.
Thanks. I'd also like to give support whenever I can.

I'm a different flavor...π¬ it's very hard to explain what I do not knowπ
Not trying to make sense of it but more of trying to ease their mind that it's standard treatment for her 'flavor.' Not to read more than there is to it.π·

Thank you. It's more of her brother worrying about her. A little lost of why more treatment. I have been trying to provide support by sharing my experiences but I am HER2 negative, so my experiences stops there.

Which one do you use? It's almost 11 months since finishing chemo and I'm now struggling with my hair. I just tend to put a hat on to keep everything down. I used to have straight hair.

Congratulations! π₯³Looking forward to more NED anniversaries.
We almost have the same timeline. My first post treatment checkup was September. I only got an 'all clear' last October 31.
I always celebrate with a sandwich after my onco visits. π€π€π€π

You have built a great amount of resources for us there. I wish there's some way to move everything here if you decide to delete the account.
