Strong administrative support is vital to any nonprofit (or agency) mission. It allows programs to run smoothly, staff to focus on their work, and resources to be used wisely. Without solid admin support, the heart of the work simply can’t beat. I don't understand why this isn't widely understood.

"Homebuilder" instead of "developer".

Among other things, it's redundant and repetitive.

I'll re-draw the maps all one by one so they all lead to Bremerton.

I traveled the country in a van as a baby 18 year old, and I'd take the interstate from city to city. Once I was in the city, I'd find a phone booth (I know, right) and take the map of the city out of the book.

I don't want to own it or run but I want to have immediate access to a fry bread truck at all times.

I adore the em dash, but — believe me; this is a hill I’ll die on — it’s not a substitute for a semicolon.

Yes, we're all going to die. Your actions on earth aren't supposed to hasten that for other people.

Expansion of the Right-of-Way Safety Initiative to assist counties and cities.
And also condo reform. The Habitat I work for would like to build connected units but can't reasonably currently. I don't have the details on that (not my department), but I have my assumptions as to what the issues are.

Tax reform. Addressing the cap would be good, revamping the system so that lower-income property owners aren't over burdened would be even better.
Landlord protections for fair landlords that don't jeopardize tenant protections. Tall order, I know.

I'm proud that Port Townsend was ahead of the curve on this one.

My writing is em-dashes and semicolons, all the way down. My writing also gets flagged as AI about 45% of the time.

It took 8 years for an affordable 43 unit apartment building in Port Townsend, with active support from multiple jurisdictions and agencies. Most of that time was spent securing the funding. It feels like it takes forever to do anything good but bad things happen in a jiffy.

And here's me, actively seeking high fluoride toothpaste and fluoride rinse because my teeth are being stressed by adult orthodontics.
