In the last couple weeks I've managed to get the Slay the Spire achievement for winning with only common cards & winning with only 1 relic, so I feel like I can finally move on with my life and play other games again. The Spire will eventually drag me back to try & get ascension 20 though, I'm sure.

Was out of town a few days. While traveling home I found a little used record store and picked up a few things. #nowspinning one of them: “Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus” by Spirit. This album was a special find for me as it once was part of the inspiration for one of my published short stories.

Well, this is a nice improvement to search, one of my biggest wants on this thing. Still needs more improvement there - like being able to search just the posts of people who follow you or who you follow or to be able to search a specific feed. But better is better!

Yep. This is a long, long standing conservative ploy. Break government-run stuff on purpose to justify privatizing it because "government-run stuff" doesn't work. Its one reason they always demand non-conservative governments add in things that will make the services suck.

Gotta say, I love/loved Elden Ring, but if the new game really is focusing on multi-player that requires 3 (i.e. just two can't play together, it's solo or triple only) and doesn't have cross-play then I suspect I probably won't be bothering to get it. I do not enjoy gaming with strangers.

A local chapter of the DSA in (Mississippi? I forget) held a clinic to fix people's broken car lights for free. Get people in, give them something to make their life less stressful, shake their hand, give out the chapter's email and phone number, say thank you for coming by, hope to see you again.
