When I cast #Superman, I needed to cast Clark, I needed to cast Lois, but I also needed to cast that special onscreen chemistry between two actors that can’t be explained. That’s the thing David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan brought to this movie together.

I just watched the #SupermanAndLois finale and…wow. I say with all seriousness that that may be one of the most beautiful hours of television ever filmed. I am full-on ugly crying and I don’t care to admit it. There hasn’t been a better portrayal of who #Superman is in 40 years.
