Warts and all, this is my favorite comic series...I mean sure, I won't hesitate to admit its flaws, but I still love it.

James Gunn's DC stuff feels like it could've been straight from the comics, and it's fantastic.
Original commandos was a team with human leader, lieutenant schriver or something. Medusa, werewolf, vampire and frankenstein made up the other 4 members.
Some of the best things about it are gone forever now—Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder among them.
Only one thing from that film HAD to be brought forward again. And I can hear that you brought it forward. 💯👍
There's also no such thing as waiting for a franchise's body to get cold. If someone gave me the novel rights to Superman, I would start TODAY.
It's OK for there to be many & varied takes. I PREFER the depth of the Dick Grayson I get in "Nightwing" comics, but can't whine that the "Teen Titans Go!" team isn't getting him right.
