It’s not cross-sex hormones, it’s sex hormones - and all humans have all of them so understanding their effects helps everyone. Which is why most of these were designed to help *both* cis- and transgender people. They just did a keyword search for transgender and flagged anything that mentioned it

Empathy isn’t a creation of Western Civilization — it’s a fundamental human trait crucial to the survival of the species.
Which is why you’ll find it everywhere…except in psychopaths and people with narcissistic personalities. Lack of empathy being a core feature of both diagnoses.

No that was a totally different situation. Musk has essentially limitless capital which makes him indispensable. I don’t know if there are any parallels in history to this situation. There’s never been anyone so wealthy.

Parrots just weren’t meant to be pets. I loved my quaker Lucy who just passed away more than anything and she changed my life. But I always knew she should have had a real bird’s life flying free. Pet parrots should only be rescues - not bought from breeders or pet stores.

Lucy my 30 year old quaker passed today so today is Birdy Remembrance Day for me too.
She was a loving, pugnacious, amazing person. I’m lost without her.

I think we have to recognize that they fundamentally do not care about the poor or the marginalized. They believe they are inferior and on some level they even believe they deserve to suffer and die.
To us that idea is anathema, but there are many who think that way and right now they’re in power.
