I had a brown intern zune stolen in a smash and grab in Eastlake.
That's the day the light went out of my eyes.

I had a thought yesterday that there's a whole fresh crop of AI operators and agents out there to fool into clicking suspicious links.

Knowing how this pope loves the poor and the earth, he absolutely meant vote against the orange one, but couldn't say so without risking an uproar from the frocks in the USCCB.

Once you're up that creek, you just need a new paddle.
Next time enroll an OTP authenticator on a yubikey or a second phone.

Please stop talking about him. He's monopolizing attention? Maybe. He's monopolizing your attention? Definitely.

It would have to keep up with the other machines.
~ 1 hr per load (dryer is slowest here).
10-40 items per load.
Somewhere around a minute per item would be fine.

Oh, unless you're copy pasting yaml with ad hoc changes? Id call that infrastructure as code, at best.

At least it's version controlled and possibly code reviewed.

Good on you but wow what a corporate cobweb haha. Quicken Inc isn't even owned by Intuit anymore (TIL). It's a standalone company that has to license it's own fuckin name from a mortgage lender in Detroit (Rocket) that Intuit happened to buy and then spin off around the turn of the century.

Quicken (Intuit) and Quicken Loans (Rocket Mortgage) haven't been related since 2002. Is your subscription that old?

Actually, more than half the sentences out of my three-year-old child are absolutely a bag of words.

He says in this thread that humans lack free will and are meat computers, which,... OK computer. Say what you must. I'll say what I choose to.

I bet very few people work like a bag of words, but when this guy makes that assertion it's rather revealing about his internal state, or lack thereof.

Nobody: "We can't just auto-issue cert renewals without a human in the loop!"
The human: "All I do is click approve, for 2 hours a day every day. You can't expect me to catch every little mistake."
Now we "manually" approve cert renewals, with a bot in the loop.

On Twitter, engagement went down at 200 and 400 minutes. Was it followers removing their likes or comments? Moderation on your part?

There is a road in Dearborn, MI between Greenfield Village and the Ford Motor Company test track where one side is a wavy wall and the other is straight. It puts the two architectures in juxtaposition in a way that makes it all but impossible not to drop this fact.

I remember him saying something about ratelimits getting hit. My guess is they set some best guesses around circuit breakers and they turned out to be too low.
