I meant "them" as farmers.
I suspect they would still be able to figure out who they want to pay off, between corporate farming, state government data, etc.

Probationary is what they’re mainly doing *now,* in addition to having changed the probation period from 2yrs to 1 yr.
Are those the only firings now? I don’t think they were for the first few agencies.

5/ And Elon doesn't appear to know that states maintain death records, not the federal government. Nor does he acknowledge there are perfectly legit survivors' benefits being paid to the much younger widows of men who died a long, long time ago.
