The kid continued to kick the back of the seat…. 😵💫😵💫😵💫. Oh n the airline damaged the luggage 🤨. Straight up lost a wheel 😵💫. So yup that’s the travel day from hell

I ignored it. I somehow managed to fall asleep. The kid kicked the seat so much that it actually woke me up. Straight up jolted me out of sleep. I add to look behind me. I think the mom realized I was getting annoyed. The kid continued 🤨. I got fed up and call the air hostess.

On the flight, lady was in my seat. Ok fine got her move. I had a toddler behind me. Kids crying don’t get to me I have headphones to block out the sound so I can sleep. However, this toddler decided to KICK the back of the seat the entire 2 hr plus plane ride 🤨.

So I said yup I’m missing this flight caz it was now 12:45. So I walked off. Then I heard the lady calling out for Cairo with the particular airline. So apparently because the gate was change last minute a bunch of people were at the wrong gate.

Sitting down the boarding area blocked off. Thought maybe they haven’t boarded yet. But my mind said ask the gate agent… I asked the gate agent guy said this flight is going to Doha you’re at the wrong gate fml

The guy and I are going back and forth about the visa on arrival thing. He makes some more calls so he said ok you’re good. Then I dash through security and you have to get stamped out so security took extra long. It was now 12:40 and doors close at 12:45. It gets worse….

😭😭.. the guy asked why I was late told him I was in the wrong line he said baggage is off. He called the supervisor.. supervisor said sure… yaaay right no. Then the guy said I can board because I need a visa which I didn’t have. However, proper research said its visa on arrival for Jamaicans.

So I used google translate and asked the guy what time is flight was he said 2pm to Cairo 🫣. So I was in the wrong damn line with 3 mins to go. Soooo I did the biggest panic dash of my life 🫣. Asked some more people. 🥲 made it to the right desk at 12:14. Guy said baggage is cut off 😖😖😖

I’ve taken a few flights in my life so I know that baggage drop off ends 1 hr before departure. Departure was at 1:15 🫣 it was 12:11 and the line wasn’t moving. So I questioned again this time I asked what time flight? Bear in mind there’s Turkish and Arabic speakers and I only speak English.

*Gets to the airport* Trying to find my check in Desk 😖. Asked the security they said over there check in starts in 30 minutes. I join this long ass line. Asking multiple ppl if they are going to Egypt they said yes. You would think I’m in the right line with the right airline right??? Wrong !!

Took a while but I figured it out and reached inside the metro station bare in mind I have zero internet connection. S/o to that old man that saw me looking lost asf and directed me in Turkish language even though I don’t know Turkish 😂😂😂. Content clues are a hell of a thing.

So I said Ill call a taxi … this is in Istanbul, Turkey btw. The uber took 15 mins to come… So I changed the destination to just lemme skip the bus stop n go straight to the metro station. Fair enough…….

Firstly, I decided to take public transportation…. According to google maps the route was take a bus then the train … the bus was a 22 mins walk. So I said hell naa 22 mins walk with luggage.
