If I had that kind of money I would pay community college tuition for people who want an education.

Why is your cat NOT posting on Nextdoor? I think you’re missing a golden opportunity to provide important commentary on those birds.

It’s worth it! Plus it’s close to the National D-Day Memorial so you could do both in a day. In my opinion. Hope it stays open also!

I want to say the fields were beautiful but I struggle to use that word in any environment that once held enslaved people.

I went here two years ago and it was an interesting historic site. The main building showcasing his life was well done. I highly recommend a visit if you’re nearby.

The memorial and museum are up on Vermont Ave NW which is blocks from the National Mall. Just to clarify in case someone is thinking of going! It is a National Park so maybe that’s why it’s listed as part of the National Mall?

We have a capitalist system that pushes workers till they quit. So even though places hire staff, they also lose them. 12 hr shifts, multiple days in a row, no breaks. Abusive patients. Why stay in that environment?

Sydney gets 10/10 for road blocking but only 7/10 for camouflage road blocking. Unless Sydney was not going for being a tripping hazard.

Consider: 1. Which will show your fur the most?
2. Which will best hide hairballs so your person steps on them?
3. The carpet will potentially trap you with a warm sunspot. You need to think about the softness of any potential sunspot trap.

This feels like the student who tries to turn in an assignment after final grades have been turned in. An assignment that would have changed the final grade.
Thanks for sharing your report, it is months if not years late.

We have a snowblower and yes we use it to help our neighbors. It’s takes little time with a snowblower. And snow shoveling is heavy hard work.

I’ve been thinking about all the art and culture lost. Right now the focus (rightly) has been on lives and buildings. We haven’t even begun to grasp everything that has been destroyed.
