no. just so much no. but I get the feeling your opinions may be somewhat influenced by the notion that Marx was right. He was brilliant, but none of the fields needed to see where he got things wrong existed yet. Neuropsych, social psychology, the nature of psychopathy was unknown.

just a note that the name Lucifer, or daystar son of the dawn, was one of the official honorific titles of the king of Babylon. so use that. The verses about the fall is from the curse on Babylon. Judaism has no powerful lord of evil... and also lacks a place of eternal torment. no devil. no hell.

nice idea but the only info I found on this idea are posts on social media, mostly on TicTok.

Those who believe that citizens (at least some people) should get to vote on who the leaders will be... and who are against monarchy & theocracy. they are leftists. they can also be for classism, imperialism, racism, sexism, slavery (etc) because the bar to be a leftist is set pretty low.

The people who sat together on the right (in the right wing) wanted kings and theocracy. They were against democracy and were for old-fashioned feudalism with an official national faith that had political and law enforcement powers.

The old French Parliament building had 2 wings to the building. A left wing and a right wing. Those in parliament who were FOR democracy and against kings and theocracy sat on the left in the left wing of the physical building. A leftist is a person who is against monarchy and theocracy.

The political terms "Left", "Left Wing", "Right" and "Right Wing" as well as "Liberal" all come from The Enlightenment. That's when these new fangled representative governments became a thing.

Just to clarify for those who don't know. The term "Liberal" in political speech came from The En.ightenment. A Liberal is a person who believes in Western Liberal Democracy which is what you have if average people get to vote for leaders and laws. This is called Classical Liberalism.

no it isn't what the faith is about. it's been completely revised many times. Their guru started out as a nonlegalistic Rabbi of the pharasee school telling people how to get rid of the Romans (it really did, they were supposed to act loving to everyone).

When doctors can't figure out what's wrong with a patient it's not unusual for them to be angry & frustrated at the patient for not being 'rewarding' (for not getting better easily which strokes the docs ego). Some are oddly chevalier with tagging people with psyche labels that stick around.

Nice idea but politicians get too much power and cash by promoting propaganda instead.

the USA has first to the post voting with an idiotic leftover from slavery in the mix. you don't get to vote for who you really want to get elected because that can easily be throwing your vote away. I live in Australia now and the voting works differently here.

true. Also true that we wouldn't be in this situation if the Democratic Party hadn't abandoned their own bylaws to select candidates instead of running an open primary.

That's not how the US system works. The USA is an early example of classical liberalism. It's in orbit around the idea that people in government will behave & cooperate (for the most part). you can't impeach without the votes in both houses so impeachment won't happen. SCOTUS made Trump immune.

this last year I had an odd experience. I had a horrible case of the flu & it almost killed me. Then I reacted very badly to a flu shot. I can't get them anymore after years without a hitch. I was told I will most likely die of the flu. and they wont stay home. people are asses.

the US system has no way to do this. SCOTUS gave him immunity

not in the USA. Remember that dubya outed a CIA agent on an assignment in hostile territory because dubya was mad at that agent's ex. Her ex told the world the truth about their having been no WMDs.

It won't be revealed. That's not what the US federal government does. They cover things up and deny them.

and it had no viable method for removing a corrupt president. none. In the US system, impeachment requires cooperation, not just the enforcement of the law.
comment in response to post
As far as I can tell the US system is an early example of Classical Liberalism. it's set up with division of powers but without any method to force anyone to behave. judges can make rulings, and they can be ignored as if the founders expected everyone to act like perfect gentlemen.

There are google maps images going around that show a big red splotch near the north wall of that prison. Perhaps that's why they are having trouble locating him.

This is what a single income earned by a white cishet male could earn with a college degree. A rather large number of US citizens saw very little benefit from an era that Red Lined them out of home ownership due to being the wrong color or faith.

We take in enough plastic that adults wind up with roughly a plastic spoon worth in their brains. Microplastics are involved in diabetes, obesity, infertility, autism, adhd, dementia and more so maybe you could be a bit less dismissive of things you haven't bothered to learn about.
