I'm so sorry, Bill. It seems like a lot of PhD programs are not accepting any applicants this year due to funding concerns.

Ah, I didn't realize that iPhones with the "notch" still support Live Activities! They just don't minimize it seems? (from bgr.com/tech/how-man...)

Good news — Renderings seem to show lots of pedestrian-friendly retail frontage and programming! (Parking garage underground?) Bad news — 20 year tax abatement. (No surprise.)

Fine for me! Just need to remember the correct amount of paperwork + show up 15min before opening. (Renewals for Real IDs require same set of documents as initial application—seems like they finally corrected their website.)

Any idea if this supports Live Activities? Or are Live Activities limited to devices with Dynamic Island?

Very strange! Sorry to hear. FWIW it seems to be fine here in Benton Park West? (Not trying to brag, just trying to give hope!)

I mean, how many are actually going to stick around for a substantive period of time?

$116M still seems way too high.

"The devil is in the details" when it comes to looking plausible—e.g., the back of the phone is likely to be glass and not aluminum in order to support wireless charging. I also would be surprised if the entire camera bar is solid black and not color-matched in some way to the phone.

A horizontal camera bar (at some point) makes sense if they are planning on releasing a flip-phone-like folding iPhone—that way, the screen can fold under the camera bump, increasing thinness. (I myself really do not care for a folding phone. A folding iPad on the other hand...)

Thank you! Yes, the Melba Theater building—Garcia bought it in 2018 but it seems like renovations have stalled out. 🙁

I can't find it right now but someone apparently(?) did a study on this (I think back on Twitter) and a non-zero number of people genuinely think that every post on the timeline is like an open DM. 😵‍💫

Thank you! Forgot the Walgreens had closed.

Definitely lots of smaller ones! Are there any in particular that you think are *extremely* noticeable? The two I can think of are the former 7/11 + the giant parking lot south of QuikTrip, but even those I would say are "smaller" than big albatrosses like the AT&T Building or the Lemp Brewery.

Here is a Google Map of all the various sites I've identified (32 so far):

And for clarification, both changes are likely because both Apple and Google pull their data from the U.S. Geographic Names Information System (GNIS), so it was more a matter of when rather than if.

I'm going to be honest—I only have this problem in St. Louis. (Although my cities for comparison are NYC / Boston / SF, so I also don't have a large sample size.)

What are the chances that the DOGE Boys are idiotically hacking together a "receive your tax refund instantly as crypto via X" functionality + adding a processing fee for refund via check or direct deposit (but in doing so break the API that TurboTax et al use + also create a huge overpayment bug)?

Yikes, which one?
