New orders for clear cutting forests.. against laws protecting endangered species etc I guess it makes sense he fired so many forest service employees…. They will no longer need to maintain trails ? Protect against fires? It’s unrelenting. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

This Day in Labor History: March 3, 1865. Congress established the Freedmen’s Bureau to adjudicate relations between white planters and the now-freed slaves in the South, especially around labor issues. Let's talk about this good, but failed, idea and why it didn't work to reset southern labor!

Watched Nosferatu (2024) last night and what a movie! Absolutely loved it.

I watched The Gorge on Apple TV+ starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller. The chemistry between the two was great and if the movie just removed the dumb sci-fi plot and made them two Cold War era spies who fall in love, I think the movie would be really great.

Kicking off this thread to document contemporary high school student activism. Like in the '60s and '70s, most teen political dissent stays a local news story. But now more than ever, it's crucial to highlight what's happening nationwide and abroad. #HighSchoolActivism www.kget.com/news/local-n...
