Well, you’re a mutant; it’s pretty much in our creed. But you were supposed to laugh. That’s the whole point of horror comedy. It makes us laugh at sick stuff. And Cocaine Bear was a gory, hilarious mix of blood, laughs and beasts

Now I have many questions… but I guess JB will have a lot to say on Friday. Surprisingly I don’t know much about the background on this film. I didn’t even know that studio interference was a thing in 1925

I think it counts as horror comedy

For me it was the night JB showed Society. I think that was the biggest “WTF did I just watch and why did I love it so much” moments I can remember. I was surprised I had never seen it. When it ended my whole face was just hanging there in awe

😆 nobody knows wtf we watched after VHS night. I had to get so stoned to ‘enjoy’ it that I actually watched that movie 3 TIMES because I thought I was missing something- turns out the movie just didn’t make any freaking sense. THREE TIMES!

Holy crap did we get off topic… kinda my fault…

And I honestly have no idea what this conversation was originally about 🤔 um… this is going to sound stupid because this app doesn’t let me open the whole conversation… but what the hell were we originally talking about?

No… I think we’re getting too bogged down in semantics. But Vegas is a good example, aurora, sandy hook, there have been incidents of people just walking into grocery stores and opening fire on people they don’t know. There are plenty of examples

It’s the difference between a drive by that targets specific people vs walking into a store and unloading a magazine… seems very similar, but not… if that makes sense

When I’m talking mass shootings, I’m talking people whose only goal is death and destruction in mass. They don’t have a specific target. Gang violence is generally done with the intention of hitting a specific target. However, innocent bystanders were/are definitely killed… and often.

Please tell me you have this recipe… although I guess I could look it up. I almost think I can remember this 🤔 but all I get from my brain is Chili Bandit… but he’s so cute! Look at him! I like it when he pukes the chili

Well, I give you that, but those were rarely done in mass shootings at schools… but yes, that was completely ignored as well. So thank you for that reminder. It’s easy for people to ignore violence when it isn’t happening to them- and you were right to bring it up, and I was wrong for not

Where the hell did you come up with that nonsense? Do you have… ANYTHING to back that statement up? Or are we just making shit up now?
comment in response to post
Yeah, but like a good 80% of the world is a shit show. The US being a huge part of that

Of course they do. Look at what they’ve seen the last 20 years. A world that doesn’t care about kids. A bleak future, if they even have one. Remember how upset everyone was after columbine? Anyone even know when the last school shooting was? In the 90s there was hope and optimism. There is none now

If you get a chance, I definitely recommend checking out his interview with the original cast of Night of the Living Dead on YouTube, but you might end up down a rabbit hole of watching clips

Oh if you’re just discovering him, you’re in for a treat . If you don’t want to watch all of the movies (and about half the movie are gone now due to streaming rights) Shudder has the “Just Joe Bob” segments. There’s also like hundreds of hours from his other shows to see

Okay, love JBB, love Motel Hell… but I don’t see how this salsa is related without all kinds of critters in it

There’s something I never wanted to know or think about

Yeah, this should be a no brainer, but seems the no brainers can’t understand it… so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why would anyone be so cruel as to bring a child into this world? It’s full of hate, the country is run by fascist businessmen supported by people brainwashed to do nothing but hate. The planet is being destroyed; nobody even blinks at mass shootings anymore. It’s time for this species to end

They don’t care about anyone but themselves. Really don’t understand how so many can’t see that

Things, Sledgehammer and Troll 2… I figure they’ll give me motivation I need to escape

Maybe she watched a little after she left and saw how bad it got

I’ve only seen this movie once. The casting was the most bizarre part. I honestly wasn’t sure if the kid was meant to be “special” or not, because he was clearly a teenager acting like a small child. It was like was like watching The Baby 1973

lol I think everyone is confused about the question. First movie at the drive-in I can remember was either Romancing the Stone or Jewel of the Nile… and been watching JBB since The Movie Channel

In myself and my appearance? Those sweaters were child abuse

I’m gonna assume you walked into this blind… DS9 reintroduced the mirror universe first seen in TOS. In it, the terrain empire was no more and had become a servant race to the alliance of Klingons, Cardassians and Bajorans. This is Major Kira’s counterpart

Pride?

Once a month isn’t exactly ideal… every other week was bad enough. I honestly don’t think this is a good move on Shudder’s part. It’ll be hard to keep the non die hard mutants’ attention- and they have to search social media to find out when it’s on. But it’s always good to see the show still going
