It’s like watching a demolition derby with only two cars left. Or a cage match with just two left. You just can’t look away.

We don't have access into our buildings on weekends. I can work in the bus loop garden and that is about it on weekends. My plans are kayaking and work around the house, probably work in the school garden some.

Third grade is usually the last of the three elementary grades to test. Reading is Monday and Tuesday this coming week. Math the following week. We do have nearly 200 test takers.

I’m in the state of Virginia. Our school year ends mid June. But also. My school is a unique model. Only second and third grade. Third grade is the only testing grade of the two.

Testing starts Monday for us.

It is causing our students at the elementary level especially to lose access to programs that were approved. If they incorporate generative AI approval is axed until it’s evaluated

I’m at the elementary level and they aren’t letting anything but High School students access generative AI. teachers can access it though. #bfc530

My role this year is Science Coach, coteaching and modeling. Letting teachers see how the garden I built can be used instructionally. We were doing habitat walks in the gardens and the discoveries even had the teachers excited. #BFC530

Yes. They do get graded assignments from their teachers. But. Not everything they give is graded. But. Kids effort increases typically when they are told it’s graded. That’s my experience

I’m sorry. But I graduated in 1981 and kids then were worried about how assignments affected their grades. That was 45 years ago. Current day. Most of the lessons I administer are not graded. Science or tech enhanced lessons.
