I really really like Brennan but I like him most as a game changer off the bench

I also thought brining in Odobert for Sonny was important for making the ball stick in the offensive half. Not as key as Maddison for buildup, but it’s nice to have options on the bench to change the game.

Fans need to stop thinking in terms of first XI/second XI, and realize that rotation and tactical fit are more important that just playing the first XI every game. Also, being able to bring Spence/Porro/Udogie off the bench to change tactics is a huge competitive advantage

Not just online. A few vocal fans in the stadium too. I don’t know what game they were watching. I guess they think it’s cool to be the “most-negative-opinion-haver”?

Spence has been without question our best player since the start of 2025. Consistently impressive

…But it’s time for him to move on and for football-focused owners to come in to build upon this financially sustainable foundation. It’s time to get back to football, not finances.

Levy took the club as far as he could. From a business perspective, what he’s done is probably one of the most impressive business transformations in recent history (with a little onfield help from Kane, Poch, Dele, etc.), and now Spurs are one of the most profitable clubs in the world. BUT…

This is honestly the type of analysis I come here for. Thank you for the research and data rather than ‘takes’

Is the injury situation any different? No? Then, yes, he will survive.

I’ve been trying to figure this out for the last few years and I’ve settled on “spurs are bad at selling a pen” as the reason. Hire an acting coach > hire a set piece coach

As frustrating as the results have been, it’s not like Spurs are falling behind the pack (except for Liverpool). Sucks to underperform, but in the grand scheme of things we’re still in the thick of it (except for Liverpool)

Celtics good. Most teams pack it in after going down that much when the threes are raining in. Cavs showed the required heart/fight for a top seed to make it a game. Learned more about the Cavs than Celts this game. Looking forward to the next matchup

On the other hand, to get to that level he needs the reps in these situations. With a little trust and patience, he’ll be more ready come playoffs and celts will be stronger

I don’t think any of the changes leap out at you - which is good. The main take always are:
1. Monogram - expect to see this a lot in the future
2. Colors - white, navy, spurple, yellow… fine. But orange and lime green seem brand new. Curious to see how these are implemented in merch, kits, etc

I choose this mindset. I’ll enjoy my weekend much more believing this, rather than the impending doom of watching Emerson and Davies play a high line on Haaland
