That someone can talk about Jesus but not have empathy for those without health care is...puzzling.

Every Democratic senator just voted for a Republican tax bill, so when you show me some resistance and outrage, I'll follow you.

Don't worry I'm sure they'll get a congressional bailout

Pretty sure safety and security matter less than gun-crazed wannabe vigilantes in reality.

The people ruling Syria right now are not the pro-democracy rebels who started the revolution, though. This could very well be another Arab Spring movement that traded one dictatorship for another.

Every single time they cut funding for the poor, the needy, the children, the workers- every time they cut the governemnt workforce, the offices, the methods of contact people can use- Every single unChristian thing this administration does should be reported.

Pretty sure the president can't use an executive order to tell Congress not to do a thing that they already voted to do. Old man signs useless piece of paper.

It's because he's too weak. He has no power to do this. No one listens to him on a Global scale. If he was actually powerful, the guy would have been home weeks ago (and that is the only messaging that has any hope of moving the needle on this).

When I was in high school in the 90s there was a boy on the girls' field hockey team because there was no boys team. This is not a new problem, this is not a trans problem, this is not even a problem. It's cowering to a bully. And I'm so disappointed in my state.

Do you think it's just a surprise bill when ships show up at a US port now? No one knows who pays what?

Right now Amazon is sending me an email every two days saying there are supply chain issues with a pair of sneakers and asking if I still want the order with a shipping delay, so. Seems comparable to US immigration already?

I couldn't imagine caring about keeping my job more than keeping a functioning nation, but there are reports that those who cross him are facing death threats from his supporters- their kids stalked at schools, spouses threatened at work, etc. They are too afraid to speak up.

Why haven't you gone to Louisiana and demanded she be released?

This is incredibly corrupt and should be illegal. That said, why aren't we rushing every Democrat in the state to sign that petition? Wouldn't it be great if his prize money went to liberal causes?

Maybe not co-sponsoring bills with Republicans, that would be a good start.

Why isn't this being reported as "tried to fire but doesn't have the authority to do so"? Can we all just start ignoring his illegal orders rather than following them while pointing out their illegality?

Yes, yes, we oppose it. No need to convince us. How do we stop it? Are we storming airports to keep planes from taking off? Sending a congressional delegation to El Salvador to get our people back? What's the plan?

People have been asking for a daily Democratic briefing since Jan 20 but the party doesn't seem to like the idea of frequently, straightforward communication with the public.

I'm a MA resident and I am begging you not to vote to give them a dime of funding until they stop their illegal impoundment and firings. Vote No!

You said Saturday you were no vote for all of their nominees- are you also a "no" for funding their efforts?

And it worked, because it happened behind me and all I heard was noise. Didn't realize what had caused it.

Because a Democrat came up with the idea so it must be destroyed no matter its value.

Get them on the record opposing every single issue via individual amendment! Then run massive commercials in the next election cycle holding them to it.

FBI doesn't target conservatives, they target criminals. If you repeat the narrative, you reinforce the narrative, NPR.

How? Even if he's got 200 people on payroll, they have only worked for a month! He's not renting office space or paying for electricity- where's the money going?

Is there any historical precedent for this? Like is it an actual thing that one can waive a conflict of interest, or is Trump making up something new?

The irony is that remote work might be the solution for a lot of people on Medicaid (not all but many). But they want to end remote work.

I could see if the full Congress voted this or the Geological or Geographic Societies endorsed it. But one dude signed a piece of paper and really they all just jump to comply? This isn't vernacular! It's one guy!

Can the Democratic Party set up an alt-government website preserving the data for public view? That would be something productive at least?

I'm sure they will write a very nice statement asking for it to be reversed, which will be ignored by the media and everyone else.

I wish this story included acknowledgment that much of what he said was false. By not clearly stating that, readers may believe it to be true.
