Whenever reading a global study, a big missing part of the world is always a vast majority part of Asia and this has been very unfortunate. Really hope to contribute more towards Asian research and looking forward to join the ASH Conference in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, summer 2026 (2/2)

Also, it reminds me of the intermediate disturbance hypothesis. Not sure if there would be any link between hormesis and IDH?

read it this morning and it is very interesting. I am thinking about essential metals (Cu, Zn) vs non-essential metals (e.g. Hg) with the later I would not expect to see the hormesis effect, but not sure.

In addition to this mega canal, hydropower dams upstream, intensive agriculture, and aquaculture with pesticides and nutrient pollution, and salinity intrusion downstream are some of the major problems. I don't even know what are the main roles and contributions of the Mekong River Commission?

Actually, we are conducting these exp on Arctic species: "conducting further performance curve studies across diverse trophic levels and ecological contexts, a very challenging task due to the scale and complexity that such experiments would require, especially with larger, slower-growing organisms"
