Racism, misogyny, cruelty is the point. Can you imagine how nicely things would be going along under a Harris/Walz administration.

Love this attitude!

This is especially frustrating to those of us who have known about Trump/Russia for decades.

Republican legislators get the Cowards of the Century Award. Unlike during Watergate, not a single one is standing up for our democracy and Constitution. Not one. Forget Red States; they should call themselves the Red Square Party.

AOC is right, totally right. It's the way to get our government back.

How can anyone in the United States who isn't white believe one single syllable of what Shitler ever says?

Can this include: Watched asshole wield chainsaw at CPAC event? Received threatening email(s) about losing my job from said asshole? Tried to comfort co-workers paralyzed with fear? Checked my bank account for savings? Called my kids saying next Xmas is off? Coded things to stymie hackers?

You know, even on our side there are ppl who simply cannot deal w/facts, but w/things only as they want them to be. Example: remaining adamant about Hochul's "firing" Adams--a long, unruly process that may not work--when voting him out would be a lot more efficient. But I get tired of arguing.

So I just finally read "It Had to Be Murder" by Cornell Woolrich, the story on which Hitchcock's "Rear Window" was based. I can honestly say that the movie is a tremendous improvement, changing quite a bit, and without the casual racism. The story's pretty tedious, actually. But good for Hitch.

I hope there are zillions of them! Bless them all!

"Buy a Tesla with an untested, unproven safety record. Will you crash? Who knows. What the hell, life's an adventure." Geez, I ought to go into advertising!

For those who say Gov Hochul should simply remove Adams from office: Listen to Lawrence O'Donnell, who explained that the process is convoluted and vague, and could be tied up in court for years. We need to stick to facts whether we like them or not. Voting the SOB out in November would work best.

IMO approval ratings are bullshit, but since Shitler is so obsessed with them (and making them up), to see a really low number would be at least a bit satisfying for us. Not because it alone would change anything, but it would get under that bastard's skin.

One need not even know details (although they're appreciated) to get the horror of what's being done in the military. This is a fucking coup, and we need our military to stand up against it IMHO. They cannot just let this happen. No doubt the leaders know this plays into the hands of our enemies.

This precisely sums it up.

This is EXACTLY one of the things I thought of. Not only how the unemployment offices in and around DC can deal with this, but the effect on consumer spending. Retail companies don't like it when nobody is retailing with them cuz they have no money to retail with.

Lay off them speedballs, fElon.

I'd really like to see the military stand up for themselves and our country, in an act of civil disobedience. It would only help to save us and our democracy, that's all.

I don't care if they're young adults with only partially formed brains. They're adults, and their acts are subject to law. I wish we had seen them all bodily thrown out of the buildings. That would have been not only cool, but appropriate, just like one would do with any thief.

Between fElon and Shitler, we have another barrage of mentally deranged, infantile communications. We've known this about Shitler for ages, yet people thought he's a cool guy who likes to express himself. Like an idiot. Like a moron. Like an addled, belligerent, dementia-riddled, decrepit old thing.

Because it's all part of the fascist plan to destroy our county.

No coincidences here.

Time to recognize that too many people in this country fell for being obsessed with pronouns-and-bathroom-use culture wars while the larger issues of our nation's security and democracy were glossed over. Veterans and others trusting Shitler are learning (maybe) a hard lesson now.

Part of me finds this so funny, but it's certainly not funny to federal workers who drive EVs.
