Reminds me of when John Howard was PM and he lost his seat in Parliament… Oh the joy! 🥳

Idea: make it Quiet Zones. Most of the time it is behind the driver’s cab and they’d appreciate the quiet customers sitting there!

I remember when we used the NR canteen in The Mailbox in Birmingham, they took the knobs off so people couldn't fiddle with the settings! Fine by me, I like anaemic toast 😁

What a lovely *checks notes, compares to UK equivalent* stately home… Everyone needs a wine cellar after all. My house is of a similar age. That’s where the similarities end. It would be condemned compared to that 😂

Oh right. Can’t be easy doing track work on such a busy system like that. Bad enough on the London Underground or the normal UK rail network 😂

Yikes, the track quality for that Q train looks terrible! Moving all over the place... 😬

Not had a Toby Carvery for a long time. My usual carvery is at Rookery Wood Farm in Crewe - very enjoyable. And works under my Slimming World regime 😁

The scope of a project to add additional double track is being scaled back. Frankly they’d be better selling off the whole route to a private company who can invest in the route rather than DB and the states: www.l-iz.de/politik/sach... #Leipzig #Chemnitz

And as I expected, the kids started asking their parents what was going off. Stop airing your dirty laundry in public. Nobody needs to see that - it is attention seeking for one thing and had I had my way I’d have rung the police.

Whilst in the cafe a father and adult daughter came in. Had coffee, were having a bit of a deep conversation. Something was clearly said, she started shouting and thumping the table & they left abruptly. Look, have a disagreement. But that’s inappropriate especially when there’s kids in there.
