I spoke with the owner of a small NY manufacturing firm. Most of his sales are exports. Biggest markets: Canada, China & Europe. He never thought Trump would actually impose tariffs; figured it was just campaign talk. If they go into effect, he fears he’ll have to lay off most of his 65 employees.
