I think she meant the committed workers within it. Our health insurance industry denies care to line their pockets, but all of my mothers sisters and many of my cousins are nurses and they truly care for each and every patient they help care for. I would guess great nurses exist everywhere though.

Another Aunt worked for Mercy Hospital of Buffalo and was head nurse of labor and delivery. She hated how much insurance interfered with the quality of care she was allowed to provide and was often angry with hospital protocols for abortion (it’s a Catholic hospital)

Mostly preventable, yes! There are however, three drug resistant strains of tuberculosis! and tragically, Rifampin (SP?) can cause changes in the melatonin in one skin, thus darkening it along with body hair loss, which has led some to commit suicide as they cannot handle these physical changes!

Not to overload you, but tuberculosis also requires isolation in a respiratory isolation room. That is definitely overloading Kansas City healthcare system. I’m sure. Hoping for the best! And anybody exposed has to go on a course of pills for I think nine months!
