Voracious reader and nature lover. Huge proponent of libraries and PBS. I’ve never met a bug or any other animal I didn’t like, and Oscar the Grouch is my hero.

I’m excited to get into it. I’m slowly trying to slog through Babel. Everyone seems to love it, but I’m seriously considering a DNF on this one.

Yep, The Poppy War is also on my list for someday. I understand your fear. I’ve had The Priory of the Orange Tree sitting on the shelf for ages, but the fear is real!

The God of the Woods is on mine. I loved The Very Irregular Society of Witches. One of my favorite witchy tales. Other stand alones are Good Dirt by Charmaine Wilkerson, Babel by R. F. Kuang, and Reformatory by Tananarive Due.

I’d like to work in history and language. My ultimate goal is to work on building education programs for non-profits that have the freedom to teach the hard stuff because I’m afraid that our public school system will be too compromised to teach what needs to be taught.

But look how cute!!

I absolutely love this!! Anna is getting a great early education in nature love. I’m so lucky to have found you here on the skies of blue.

That’s amazing. At 52, I’m going back to school to get my non-licensure education degree that I started way back in 1993. I hope to become a curriculum designer in the EdTech space. It is teachers like you who give me hope that the tough stuff will continue to be part of a solid education.

I love it! Thank you for discussing a hard topic with your students. May I ask what grades you teach?

I’m at a large Dunkin iced and a home brewed cuppa. I’ll probably switch off to some herbal tea after the cuppa empties.
