Air Traffic Controllers to this day will not respond to you if you call National Airport “Reagan”, because Reagan blocked their strike in the 80s. You can fly around all day being ignored. This is the kind of eff you energy we need right now.

Hell yeah. Hold the line. This is what we need people to do. Slow things down, don’t comply in advance so the courts have time to stop them. It’s starting to work.

The reason I don’t want a “Christian nation” isn’t because I’m against Christianity. It’s because I’ve studied church history in depth and learned the tremendous harm caused by the church crawling into bed with the empire. Separation of church and state is best for everyone.

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record. They run them bc people react to them the most. If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change. It’s not easy and takes constant practice!
