More precisely I would compile a set of arguments that Trumps team can use to "fact check" Russia. Chances are that they have a way too rosy picture about it, and thus they think Russia can help with China. Russia is master in masking its weaknesses. We must make US see Ukr+Europe is much stronger.

Trump's pressure is abt negotiating, but it's unclear what the goals really are. Why is he pushing quick peace? I would continue talking, and remind him that Ukraine has not lost, ask what his plans are with Russia and China? It makes no sense to abandon Europe/Ukr. in context with China for example
